I purchased this in Dec of 2015 for my 2011 iMac 27inch in order to use the Magic TrackPad 2 that came out in Oct 2015. The install was a little tough because at the time there were no YouTube videos to show me what I needed to do for this install, but I installed an internal SSD at the same time so that, and the instructions provided by OSXWIFI I was able to get it done. I had a long antenna style wire leftover that I did not know where it went, but the desired outcome/connectivity was achieved, so I haven’t worried too much about it. I am now ordering one for my husband’s iMac which is the twin to mine since I had to open it up to bake his graphic card, figured I would install this as long as it was open (baking fixed the graphics card BTW). The upgrade was totally worth doing on my iMac. I love that the price came down!

Amazing what these guys do, it works fantastic. At first I didn’t believe this is gonna work but I gave them a chance and I don’t regret.
